Basketball is no longer part of my college experience these days. After suffering through three seasons and enduring three surgeries, (1 shoulder, 2 ACL), it was time to give it up. Not to mention my Coach was one of those people you HAD to get along with because you had no other choice.... as much as I would have like to tell him where to shove it. But that's neither here, nor there. It's time for me to focus the majority of my attention on my Nursing degree-- which I am so excited to get. I start clinicals in October, and I couldn't be more nervous!
Jordan, my boyfriend for about a year now, is playing basketball at JCC. This will be his second year, and undoubtably his best. A year ago he packed up all that he could fit into his car and made the journey all the way to Michigan from West Palm Beach, Florida. He did this to be with his mom and his little brother, Chad. Needless to say, these were the only two people he knew up here. He left behind his sister and all of his friends to be with his mom and little brother. Jordan is one of the strongest people I know. He has had many life experiences I can't even imagine in my own life. He is definitely my hero and is an amazing person inside and out.
Ahh... not really sure what else to say right now. First blog back--- kind of a boring one, but I had to start somewhere!
